About the role

Join the bustling kitchen team at Treasure Island Holiday Resort on the Gold Coast. We are looking for qualified chefs and experienced cooks to deliver high‑quality meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner during the busy holiday season.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present menu items to a high standard for all service periods.
• Maintain consistent plating and recipe adherence while supporting daily food preparation.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures.
• Assist with stock rotation, storage and minimise food waste.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen, café, restaurant or bistro.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Positive, reliable attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Relevant commercial cookery qualifications.
