Charge Radiation Therapist

About the role

Icon Cancer Centre Canberra is seeking a Charge Radiation Therapist to join its Radiation Oncology team. This is a permanent full-time position working a 9-day fortnight, Monday to Friday, in business hours. The role suits an experienced Radiation Therapist who wants to develop clinical expertise and leadership skills, working closely with the Radiation Therapy Manager and a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care across planning and treatment services.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Radiation Therapist
• ACT Radiation Use Licence, or ability to obtain one (assistance available)
• Strong technical expertise in radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery
• Understanding of private healthcare service delivery models
• Commitment to clinical protocols, quality standards and continuous improvement

• Pay of $92.18 to $95.14 per hour, which already includes a 10% regional allowance
