Chain of Responsibility Lead - Transmission Project

About the role

ACCIONA is delivering a transmission project in Metro Melbourne, and this role sits in the project office and sets the standard for how project information is managed and shared. It reports to the Director, Health and Safety and owns Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance across the project, working daily with logistics, construction, procurement, plant and fleet teams, subcontractors, transport providers and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CoR compliance frameworks, procedures and management plans
• Monitor compliance with the Heavy Vehicle National Law and contract requirements
• Audit transport providers, subcontractors and logistics activities
• Manage CoR risks, including fatigue, load restraint, mass and dimension controls
• Investigate transport incidents and breaches and coordinate corrective actions
• Review transport management plans and support contractor prequalification
• Report compliance performance to project leadership and promote a safe transport culture
• Run awareness training so every party knows its duties

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in logistics, transport or a related field
• Experience on infrastructure, construction or resource projects
• Current driver licence and Construction Induction (White Card)

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Heavy Vehicle National Law and CoR duties
• Audit, investigation and contractor compliance experience
