Centre Manager – Childcare

About the role

G8 Education is looking for an energetic Centre Manager to lead its 61-place childcare centre at St Helens Park World of Learning. This is a full-time permanent position where the manager drives excellence across the centre, inspires the team and ensures high standards of care, education and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily centre operations, including staffing, budgets and parent communication.
• Support Educators and Teachers through coaching, mentoring and professional growth.
• Design and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children's holistic development.
• Prioritise children's safety and well-being in line with policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive culture that values teamwork and diversity.

Required profile

• ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education.
• At least 3 years of experience in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including a leadership role.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage priorities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
