Catering Assistant - Aged Care Dining

About the role

Compass Group is hiring a Catering Assistant for its Uniting Thomas Bowden facility in Richmond, New South Wales. The role supports quality food service for residents, helping deliver enjoyable mealtimes in a clean, safe and welcoming dining environment. Pay is $27.09 per hour plus penalties and 12% super.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality meal services to residents
• Support a busy and collaborative kitchen team
• Assist with stock rotation and stock control
• Follow food safety and workplace health procedures
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment
• Assist with daily kitchen operations
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Required profile

• Experience in catering, food service, hospitality or a similar environment
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
