Cook - Residential Aged Care

About the role

Compass Group is recruiting a Cook for a permanent part-time position at Uniting Hawkesbury, a residential aged care facility in the Hawkesbury area of Richmond, NSW. The role prepares nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary needs, within a supportive team that values quality, care and service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary requirements
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen presentation
• Work with kitchen, care and site teams to deliver an excellent dining experience
• Support menu delivery while accommodating individual dietary needs and preferences
• Monitor stock levels and assist with kitchen operations as required
• Contribute to a positive and welcoming dining environment for residents

Required profile

• Previous cooking experience in hospitality, healthcare or aged care
• Current Australian working rights
• A reliable and professional approach to work
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current COVID-19 vaccination requirements as applicable
• National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
