Category Excellence Business Analyst

About the role

The Category Excellence Business Analyst will join Bapcor's Group Category Strategy team, supporting trade partner plans, category reviews and procurement initiatives through high‑quality analysis, reporting and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and governance of strategic trade partner plans, category reviews and procurement activities.
• Analyse category, trade partner, procurement, sales, margin, inventory and commercial performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare review packs, scorecards, briefing materials and decision‑support documentation for key stakeholders.
• Maintain action registers, milestones, risks and dependencies to ensure progress and delivery.
• Partner with product category leads, procurement and business stakeholders to improve visibility, reporting quality and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Highly organised analytical professional with tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.
• Experience in commercial, analytical, procurement, category, PMO or business support roles.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
