About the role
MidCoast Christian College, a Christ-centred school of about 850 students in the Greater Taree region of NSW, has vacancies for casual Secondary Teachers covering Prep-12. Applications are accepted year-round and the starting date is flexible.
Required profile
- Practising Christian, active in a church and subscribing to the Statement of Faith
- Ability to teach from a Christian perspective
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Willingness to contribute to the college's co-curricular program
Required skills
- Ability to cater for the full range of learners, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and EAL/D learners, with high expectations of students
- Integration of ICT into teaching
- Use of data to inform planning
Candidates must meet NSW Working with Children and NESA teacher employability requirements and be eligible to work in Australia. Teachers are paid under the Christian Schools Australia Multi-Enterprise Agreement, with salary depending on step.
