Casual Registered Nurse - In Home Nursing Services

About the role

Benetas is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in the South, East or Western regions to join its In-Home Nursing Service (also called Community Nursing). Nurses deliver one-on-one, person-centred nursing care in clients' own homes, from recently born babies to older Victorians, post-acute care and everything in between. The role suits nurses who want to use a range of clinical skills with autonomy and in a supportive environment.

Required profile

• At least 2 years' full-time experience as a Registered Nurse with a Division 1 AHPRA registration, and strong clinical skills, including acute care, as the only nurse with the client in their home.
• Friendly, positive attitude and client-focused behaviour.
• Understanding of the home care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration.
• Own vehicle and licence to drive between clients, willing to drive to clients' homes and see up to 8 clients per day.
• CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required for eligibility.

What we offer

• $53.66 per hour plus superannuation and 25% casual loading.
• Salary packaging up to $18,550 per year.
• Paid travel and training time, plus paid KM reimbursement.
• Shifts Monday to Friday, approximately 8am to 5pm, with occasional weekends.
