Casual Registered Nurse – Dialysis

About the role

Join Fresenius Medical Care as a Casual Registered Nurse in the Liverpool Dialysis Clinic, delivering life‑sustaining haemodialysis treatments and providing compassionate, patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care within the haemodialysis setting.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and uphold privacy standards.
• Participate in clinical, management, education and quality activities for staff and patients.
• Report incidents, hazards and improvement opportunities as part of quality improvement.
• Perform defined management functions when required and complete annual clinical competencies.

Required profile

• Registered General Nurse with AHPRA registration and current practising certificate.
• Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in nephrology.
• Working towards or holding an approved nephrology nursing qualification.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and patient safety.

Required skills

• Computer literacy, including use of the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS).
• Advanced clinical competence in nephrology nursing.
• Ability to educate staff, patients and visitors.
