Casual Merchandiser – NSW (Newcastle, Kotara, Mayfield)

About the role

As a Casual Merchandiser for Nestlé you will represent the company’s iconic brands across the grocery channel in the Newcastle, Kotara and Mayfield areas of New South Wales. This part‑time position (Wednesday‑Friday, 10‑20 hours per week) offers flexible hours and the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in retail sales and visual merchandising.

Key responsibilities

• Visit Coles, Woolworths and independent stores to maintain and refresh Nestlé product displays.
• Build and secure brand displays, ensuring optimal shelf space and visual impact.
• Collaborate with store managers to drive commercial results and resolve any merchandising issues.
• Follow a weekly plan while remaining available for additional hours during peak periods.
• Document work and capture display highlights using a mobile device, reporting to the Territory Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a retail or customer‑facing environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with store staff.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Comfortable with lifting, moving and assembling displays.
• Proficient in using a mobile device for work documentation.
