Casual Medical Receptionist

About the role

Bupa Medical Services is looking for a casual Medical Receptionist at its clinic in Gordon, New South Wales. The role is the first point of contact for patients, welcoming them and keeping the clinic running smoothly while linking patients with the right care team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure.
• Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately in the clinic's system.
• Manage appointment bookings, coordinating with medical staff to schedule consultations, tests and follow-ups.
• Assist with processing payments, health insurance claims and billing inquiries, keeping records accurate and confidential.
• Keep the reception area clean, organised and stocked, and monitor inventory and request supplies.
• Work closely with the general practice nursing team.

Required profile

• Previous GP Medical Receptionist experience is favourable.
• Best Practice experience is advantageous.
• Availability on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays is preferred; shifts are available Monday through Saturday.
