Casual Housekeeper / Laundry Attendant

About the role

Estia Health Dandenong, an aged care provider with 96 homes across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria, is looking for an experienced Housekeeper (Cleaner) / Laundry Attendant to join its team on a casual basis. The home is close to Dandenong Hospital, public transport and a multicultural shopping area.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the home clean, hygienic and safe for residents every day.
• Deliver to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, improving the presentation of and service within the home.
• Work as part of a team of aged care professionals.
• Auditing and site inspections of the home to maintain hygiene standards and support operational excellence.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail, since health and hygiene standards are critical.
• Commitment to Work, Health and Safety principles.
• Positive, warm, empathetic and can-do attitude.
• Ability to manage a hygiene maintenance system through audits and inspections.
