Casual Educator – Early Childhood

About the role

Sandcastles Childcare Chatswood 2, part of G8 Education, is offering a casual Educator position within its team of qualified Early Childhood professionals. The centre offers indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms with age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities; at capacity it cares for up to 50 children from 7:30am to 6pm. The role suits people who want to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for children aged 0-5 years.

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Children's Services approved by ACECQA
• Proven educator experience in an early childhood service working with children aged 0-5 years
• Current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate

Required skills

• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Understanding of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
