Casual Cook - Bistro Style Kitchen

About the role

Young and Jacksons, part of the Endeavour Group, is looking for an enthusiastic Cook to join its kitchen team in Melbourne. The role prepares high-quality dishes for guests in a fast-paced, bistro-style kitchen, working closely with the kitchen team.

Key responsibilities

• Complete food preparation and cleaning according to ALH standards
• Contribute to a culture of responsibility centred on safety and procedural compliance
• Work with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes that delight guests
• Handle stock, kegs and deliveries by hand, including lifting

Required profile

• Experience working in a team in a fast-paced, bistro-style kitchen
• Passion for the guest experience and for delivering high-quality dishes
• Great organisation and communication skills
• Able to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently, such as lifting and moving stock
