Casual Barista

About the role

Hotel Woolstore 1888, a boutique heritage hotel in Sydney's Darling Harbour precinct, is looking for a passionate and experienced casual barista. The role suits someone who loves coffee, enjoys connecting with people and has experience delivering attentive, personalised table service in an à la carte or café-style setting. You will help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and locals and serve quality coffee.

Key responsibilities

• Serve quality coffee and provide an exceptional dining experience for guests and locals
• Manage coffee orders and table service efficiently during busy periods
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and contribute to a close-knit team

Required profile

• Proven barista experience with strong coffee-making skills and knowledge of coffee preparation
• Experience providing table service in an à la carte restaurant or café-style environment
• Friendly, customer-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while keeping high standards of quality and service
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
