About the role

Join Breakthru to support individuals with disability, injury or health conditions as they prepare for meaningful employment. You will guide clients through the job‑readiness journey, from confidence building to interview preparation, helping them achieve their career goals.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to plan next career steps and find suitable jobs.
• Provide tailored coaching, regular check‑ins and motivation to maintain progress.
• Connect participants with upskilling, hands‑on experience and group activities.
• Collaborate with employers and community services to create pathways to employment and training.
• Meet internal and external performance benchmarks while championing inclusion and person‑centred practice.

Required profile

• Empathetic, energetic and driven to make a difference for people with disability or health challenges.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with both clients and employers.
• Highly organised, outcomes‑focused and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, people‑first environment.
• Professional, detail‑oriented and committed to maintaining accurate records.

Required skills

• Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (e.g., Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work) – desirable.
• Experience in employment services supporting people with disability, injury or health conditions.
• Proven ability to meet KPIs and develop client‑focused employment and skills plans.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Current driver’s licence (essential) and knowledge of disability legislation and labour market trends.
