Care Attendant (Personal Care Worker) - Perth

About the role

HenderCare is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers (Care Attendants) to provide home care services across Perth Metro. This is a casual role supporting clients in their own homes or supported independent living facilities, with availability Monday to Friday between 7am and 10pm, including short shifts of 2 to 5 hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care in clients' homes or supported independent living facilities
• Deliver personal care, social support and transportation
• Prepare meals and assist with domestic tasks such as vacuuming, laundry, bathroom cleaning and dusting
• Assist with hoisting where needed

Required profile

• Completed Certificate III/IV in Disability or Aged Care
• Current National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (employee type)
• Own reliable vehicle for transport
• Reliable smartphone compatible with the AlayaCare app (iOS 15+ or Android 9+) for roster access
• Previous experience with NDIS, disability or veterans' affairs clients is highly regarded
• Right to work in Australia; pre-employment checks apply

Required skills

• CPR (HLTAID009), First Aid (HLTAID011) and Manual Handling (HLTWHS005)
