Care Aide - Home Care, Collie and Surrounds

About the role

Silverchain is recruiting experienced Care Aides for a permanent part-time role of 39 hours per fortnight, working Wednesday to Friday between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Applicants must live in the listed towns around Collie, and the role involves travelling between clients' homes to deliver personal care and support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and support that promotes client independence
• Provide personal care including showering, grooming and toileting
• Assist with medication as required
• Prepare meals and support clients with nutrition needs
• Provide domestic assistance and general housekeeping
• Offer social support and community engagement
• Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients' homes
• Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently

Required profile

• Valid driver's licence with unrestricted access to a registered, insured vehicle in good condition (essential)
• Relevant certificate (Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability) highly desirable; holders need at least 3 months of relevant care worker experience, others 6+ months full-time equivalent
• Experience in a home care or community setting highly desirable
• Willingness to work autonomously in the community, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app

Required skills
