Buyer Planner – Contract Manufacturing & Logistics

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Contract Manufacturing Commercial & Logistics team as a Buyer Planner. You will manage the end‑to‑end flow of materials and inventory between Nestlé sites and external manufacturers, supporting new product launches and driving cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, lead supplier negotiations and secure competitive commercial terms.
• Manage contractual processes, including confidentiality, trial and manufacturing agreements.
• Oversee material and inventory movement between Nestlé sites and contract manufacturers, handling returns and SAP material transactions.
• Implement risk‑mitigation plans to ensure continuous supply of outsourced products.
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships through structured review processes and deliver measurable value.
• Identify cost‑improvement opportunities across the outsourced manufacturing portfolio.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to achieve optimal commercial and operational outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or manufacturing environments.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, Engineering, Science, Food Technology or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence, negotiate and drive change.
• Effective time‑management skills and ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team.
