Business Tax & Advisory Manager – Private Clients

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring a Business Tax & Advisory Manager for its Private Clients practice in Sydney. You will work with privately owned businesses at every stage of their lifecycle, delivering complex corporate tax compliance and consulting solutions to clients in property and construction, consumer markets, technology and financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients across many industries through all stages of their business lifecycle, including growth and succession or exit
• Deliver complex corporate tax compliance and consulting, including domestic tax issues such as consolidation and restructuring
• Support and contribute to M&A transactions and ATO engagements
• Analyse complex financial data and tax issues while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
• Manage client relationships and expectations, delivering a high standard of client engagement
• Mentor junior onshore staff and invest in their career development
• Take part in formal and informal training programs

Required profile

• Accounting qualification and experience preparing special purpose financial statements (CA or CPA advantageous)
• Experience in tax compliance and advisory for private groups
• Experience in tax filings and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Strong client engagement skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms used in tax preparation and financial reporting
• Ability to analyse complex financial data and tax issues
