Business Development Partner – Melbourne

About the role

Envoyage, part of Flight Centre Travel Group, is seeking a Business Development Partner to drive new‑business sales across its network of independent travel agencies in Melbourne. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, managing the sales process and supporting ongoing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Build and leverage multi‑level networks with suppliers, industry bodies and internal FCTG teams to generate acquisition opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to generate new leads and utilise Salesforce to record activity and manage opportunities.
• Qualify customer needs, identify gaps and present tailored solutions that maximise travel spend, stick rate and profitability.
• Negotiate outcomes that optimise margin while guiding customers through transition and support phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Business Development role within the travel industry, with strong relationships to independent travel agencies.
• Consistently high performance against sales targets.
• Understanding of travel agency processes and the supplier landscape.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system.
