Business Development Manager

About the role

PolarSeven is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new‑business growth across its Consulting and Managed Services units. Reporting to the CEO, you will own the pipeline of qualified opportunities, work closely with AWS account managers and convert leads into revenue‑generating contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target customers that match PolarSeven’s Ideal Customer Profile, building relationships with C‑suite decision‑makers.
• Generate co‑sell leads through the AWS ACE portal and leverage MAP and POC funding programs to accelerate deals.
• Collaborate with GTM, consulting and technical teams to shape solutions, create proposals and Statements of Work.
• Develop and execute targeted campaigns, track high‑propensity prospects and manage the full sales cycle to meet revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven track record in B2B technology sales or business development, preferably within AWS cloud consulting, professional services or managed services.
• Strong ability to build relationships with senior executives and work cross‑functionally with technical and delivery teams.
• Commercial acumen with experience in pricing, margins and ROI analysis.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, including partner relationships, co‑sell opportunities and funding programs.
• Experience selling cloud migration, modernisation, data, AI or managed services solutions.
