Business Development Manager – Energy & Resources (Brisbane)

About the role

Sodexo is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead growth in the Energy & Resources segment for its Brisbane operations. In this full‑time permanent role you will build a pipeline of new opportunities, nurture client relationships and drive bid strategies that support Sodexo’s focus on innovation and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities within the Energy & Resources market in APAC.
• Enter and manage prospect details in the sales system and track bid pipelines.
• Engage key stakeholders in client organisations to understand upcoming projects and business drivers.
• Create and nurture partnerships with clients, investors, suppliers and industry bodies.
• Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify organic growth within existing contracts.
• Prepare, present and manage responses to tenders, cross‑bids and rebids.
• Assist in the development of strategic business plans and new product concepts.
• Maintain post‑award client relationships throughout the project life‑cycle.

Required profile

• Hospitality or Facilities Management background is advantageous.
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Business, Marketing, Technical or a related commercial discipline.
• Proven negotiation and new‑business pitching experience.
• Active participation in relevant industry associations.
