Business Development Manager – Queensland

About the role

Fuelco Australia is seeking a Business Development Manager for Queensland to drive growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities across the fuel storage and infrastructure market. The role focuses on prospecting, building pipelines and turning leads into long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win new business opportunities throughout Queensland.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet growth targets.
• Build relationships with end users, contractors, consultants, project managers and key decision‑makers.
• Manage opportunities from prospecting through to contract award.
• Position Fuelco products early in project lifecycles and conduct site visits and customer meetings.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM data.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating and operations teams to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
• Represent Fuelco at industry events, trade shows and customer functions.

Required profile

• Motivated, results‑driven sales professional with strong commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to establish credibility quickly and build lasting relationships.
• Experience in new‑business hunting and solution‑selling in technical or industrial markets.
• Ability to work autonomously across a large territory and travel extensively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
