Business Development Manager - Digital Marketing

About the role

23 Digital provides high-conversion digital marketing solutions to its clients and is looking for an experienced, sales-driven Business Development Manager to join its St Kilda office. Working closely with the Sales Director, you will take sole responsibility for acquiring Web Design, SEO/SEM and Social Media Marketing clients from SME and corporate sectors, and will sell the company's range of web and digital marketing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Convert opportunities into business using solution selling skills
• Develop proposals and presentations for new business opportunities
• Manage the handover of new accounts to the client services team
• Increase revenue streams from existing clients
• Drive sales targets and contribute to the agency's growth
• Prospect future accounts and collaborate with existing clients
• Make calls, arrange and attend appointments at the office or at client premises, and manage the sales process

Required profile

• At least 12 months of experience in digital marketing, including face-to-face and telephone selling
• Proven track record of face-to-face sales success
• Experience in B2B sales, with a well-crafted sales process or methodology (formal training is an advantage)
• Highly motivated, organised and able to build strong business relationships

Required skills

• Digital marketing knowledge (web, SEM, SEO, display, social media)
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a team and thrive in an on-the-road B2B sales role
