Business Development Manager - Commercial Fitness Equipment

About the role

QLI Fitness Equipment, a global manufacturer of fitness equipment with headquarters in Sydney and Los Angeles and manufacturing in Vietnam, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager in Silverwater, Sydney. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role aimed at growing the brand in Australia and selected international markets, with the chance to work with the Australian leadership team and the backing of an international manufacturing operation.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business growth across Australia's commercial fitness industry and selected international markets.
• Build strategic partnerships with gym operators, commercial facilities, developers, distributors and major industry partners.
• Own the sales process, from identifying opportunities and building relationships through negotiation and closing.
• Travel interstate and potentially overseas, including to the manufacturing facilities in Vietnam.
• Represent QLI at industry exhibitions, customer events, product demonstrations and brand initiatives.
• Contribute ideas on new business opportunities, strategic accounts, partnerships and commercial expansion.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B business development, preferably in commercial fitness equipment, fitness, health, wellness or a related industry.
• Experience winning new customers, developing strategic accounts and closing commercial deals.
• Confidence engaging with business owners, gym operators, directors and senior decision-makers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and willing to travel interstate and internationally.
• Existing relationships in the Australian fitness industry are highly regarded.

What we offer

• Remuneration package of $100,000-$115,000 including superannuation, depending on experience.
• Uncapped commission with an OTE of $150K+.
