Business Development Manager - Adelaide

About the role

Diageo is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its Field Sales team, owning a defined territory across Adelaide (Metro and Northern region of South Australia). The role combines account management and new business development: growing an existing customer base while identifying and converting new opportunities. It covers a mix of retail and on-premise customers, including multi-site operators, and runs with a high degree of autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the territory, shaping plans and priorities to deliver sustainable growth.
• Build long-term partnerships that create value for customers and Diageo.
• Own opportunities end-to-end, from identification through to execution and delivery.
• Use data, insight and judgement to make commercial decisions that grow revenue, distribution and share.
• Deliver high-quality execution that brings the brands to life and drives market performance.

Required profile

• A track record of taking ownership and delivering outcomes end-to-end.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence a range of stakeholders.
• Experience turning identified opportunities into measurable results.
• Strong prioritisation skills and resilience in fast-moving or changing environments.
