Business Development Executive – Townsville

About the role

As a Business Development Executive you will ensure our products are visible, available and delivering great experiences for customers across Townsville and regional Western Queensland. This fast‑paced field sales role involves daily travel, relationship building and uncovering new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and partners.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure product availability and successful promotions.
• Deliver regular reporting on sales performance, opportunities and market intelligence.

Required profile

• Valid Australian driver’s licence with willingness to travel throughout the territory.
• Strong communicator able to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Organised, strategic and confident in planning and prioritising work.
• Problem‑solver who turns challenges into opportunities.
• Resilient, energetic and able to thrive through change.
• Experience in FMCG, retail or convenience sectors is an advantage (not essential).
