Business Development Coordinator – Brisbane 2032

About the role

The Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee is recruiting a Business Development Coordinator through Randstad. The role is hands-on and suits someone early in their career who enjoys commercial research, analysing prospective partners' financial health, market trends and business challenges. The coordinator investigates partners, turns financial and industry data into clear pitch materials for senior leaders, and helps the Commercial team secure world-class sponsors.

Key responsibilities

• Research prospective partners and industry categories, analysing financial performance, market trends and macroeconomic factors
• Turn complex data into polished pitch decks and visual presentations for C-suite audiences and senior leadership
• Help document sales strategies, proposals and approaches to commercial partnerships
• Maintain the CRM system, record activities, track sales pipelines and update partner information
• Produce regular reports on pipeline status and revenue, and support tracking of partner assets such as a Rights Matrix
• Support briefings, meetings and events, including travel when necessary

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or a related commercial discipline
• Experience preparing regular reporting on sales activities and pipeline status
• Demonstrable experience delivering to deadlines

Required skills

• Strong computer literacy, including the Microsoft suite and familiarity with CRM databases
• Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills
• Ability to research and analyse in detail for senior audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication
