Business Development Executive - Lead Generation

About the role

Compass Group Australia provides food, hospitality and support services to hospitals, aged care facilities, schools, universities and remote workforce villages. It is looking for a Business Development Executive to join its Growth team and identify and qualify new business opportunities across Healthcare, Seniors, Education and Remote & Living Services. The role is hybrid (NSW, VIC, QLD) and offers an uncapped commission structure.

Key responsibilities

• Research markets and identify potential opportunities across hospitals, aged care providers, schools, universities, workforce accommodation villages, mining camps and remote communities.
• Engage prospective clients using market research, CRM insights, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach and phone-based engagement.
• Connect with decision-makers and build a pipeline of qualified leads for the Business Development Managers.
• Assess opportunities against sector strategies, maintain accurate prospect data, provide market intelligence to internal stakeholders and nurture relationships until opportunities are qualified.

Required profile

• Experience in lead generation, business development, recruitment, customer engagement, inside sales or similar.
• Confidence engaging prospective customers by phone and email.
• Experience researching organisations and market opportunities.
• An interest in healthcare, aged care, education, resources, community services or related sectors.
