Business Development Manager - HVAC

About the role

Trane Technologies, a global leader in climate solutions for buildings, homes and transportation, is looking for a Business Development Manager in Brisbane. The role works on-site five days a week, supporting assigned sales managers and their customers with HVAC systems and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Support assigned sales managers and their customers with product selection, application, proposals and sales development for HVAC systems and equipment.
• Achieve assigned sales and customer development quotas by focusing on acquiring and developing customers for applied products.
• Use selection and pricing software and programs related to equipment sales.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure seamless project execution, from initial consultation to post-sales support.
• Process and coordinate orders to the relevant factories until delivery, and help the service team with handover and after-sales queries.
• Travel to customer job sites, which may involve outdoor work, mechanical/equipment rooms, variable weather, moving parts and heights.
• Take part in training programs, industry events and company webinars to improve sales skills and technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
