Business Banking Manager – SME Portfolio (Brisbane)

About the role

The Business Banking Manager will manage and grow an existing portfolio of small‑to‑medium enterprise (SME) customers for ANZ’s Business & Private Bank. You will deliver tailored banking solutions, support clients through multiple channels and help them achieve their growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Handle high‑volume inbound enquiries and conduct outbound calls based on structured leads.
• Provide high‑quality, proactive service to a diverse SME customer base.
• Retain and expand existing relationships by understanding client ambitions and offering appropriate banking solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver rapid, customer‑focused outcomes.
• Meet performance targets across the balanced scorecard and manage a team‑based portfolio.

Required profile

• Experience in business banking or a related financial services role.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills across phone, video, email and digital platforms.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using digital banking platforms and CRM tools (as used by ANZ).
