Business Analyst Intern

About the role

A Business Analyst Intern is sought to support a U.S.-based team. The intern helps understand business needs, documents requirements and coordinates with stakeholders to improve processes and support project delivery. The position is remote.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business and user requirements
• Support stakeholder meetings and record decisions and action items
• Prepare process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria and project documentation
• Carry out research and basic data analysis to support business decisions
• Work with technical teams to clarify requirements and track progress
• Assist with user acceptance testing, document issues and follow up on resolutions
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and user experiences

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Business Information Systems, Business Management, IT, Computer Science or a related field
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Reliable computer and internet connection, with availability to overlap with agreed U.S. working hours

Required skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace and presentation tools
• Basic understanding of software development and business processes
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, process mapping or Agile practices is an advantage
