Bundaberg Distillation Manager

About the role

The Bundaberg Distillation Manager leads the team that produces new‑make rum for Bundaberg Rum. This operational leadership position involves coordinating production, ensuring safety and quality, and driving continuous improvement across the distillery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day distillery operations with a focus on safety, quality, compliance and team performance.
• Coordinate production activities to meet volume and quality targets in line with site plans.
• Monitor process performance, work with operators and technical specialists to resolve issues and improve results.
• Partner with Maintenance to enhance equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading or supervising people in a manufacturing or process environment.
• Strong understanding of safe manufacturing practices and controlled production processes.
• Analytical mindset with ability to use production data for decision‑making.
• Interest in developing people and fostering a continuous‑improvement culture.

Required skills

• Experience with process control or manufacturing systems such as SAP, MES or SCADA.
• Ability to solve practical operational problems and manage competing priorities.
