Branch Concierge - Ingle Farm (28.5 hrs/w)

About the role

The Retail Bank is looking for a Customer Banking Specialist to join its Ingle Farm branch on a part-time basis. The role works closely with the Branch Manager and colleagues to deliver a good experience for every customer, and refers customers to other specialists for more complex needs. Rosters are predetermined, and applicants must be available for the 28.5-hour roster: Monday and Tuesday 11:15am-4:15pm, Wednesday 9:30am-2:30pm, Thursday and Friday 9:00am-4:15pm.

Key responsibilities

• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversation.
• Help customers use in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Respond to customers' transactional needs in the branch so they leave satisfied.
• Interview and process applications for personal loans, credit cards and related products.
• Follow bank processes, including accurate transaction reconciliation and review of customers' financial positions.
• Take part in community events and fundraising activities.
• Look after the safety and wellbeing of the team.
• Use tools to capture customer feedback and act on service gaps.

• Ability to ask the right questions, act with integrity and put the customer first.
• Passion for service excellence, able to work independently and to refer customers to other specialists.
• Able to work in a busy, commercial retail environment while seeing the big picture for customers.
• Genuine passion for the customer.
