Booking Agent

About the role

Sunshine Coast Radiology is looking for an enthusiastic Booking Centre Agent to work full time, coordinating appointments and creating a seamless, caring experience for every caller. The role is the first point of contact for patients and referrers, with Monday to Friday shifts between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm and no weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Answer patient and referrer calls professionally and warmly
• Schedule appointments using the RIS system (Karisma)
• Keep workflows efficient and organised
• Provide fee quotes and explain Medicare rebates clearly
• Help prepare patients for their visit with the information they need

Required profile

• A caring, empathetic communication style
• Great problem-solving and time management abilities
• A positive, proactive attitude
• Experience in customer service is a plus
• No medical administration experience needed, as full training is provided

Required skills

• Advanced computer and keyboarding skills
• RIS scheduling (Karisma)
