Boilermaker / Welder (Qualified or Unqualified)

About the role

Pearl Recruitment is recruiting two Boilermakers / Welders for a well-established client based in Forrestfield that makes custom trailers for the mining, construction and agricultural industries. The client is looking for experienced welders, and the position offers an immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings
• MIG and FCAW welding
• Use tools and machinery to fabricate components and assemble trailers
• Collaborate with other team members
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Required profile

• Trade certificate
• MIG and FCAW aluminium welding experience
• Ability to pass a medical, drug and alcohol test
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with punctuality and reliability
• Forklift licence desirable

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading and understanding fabrication drawings
• MIG and FCAW welding

What we offer

• Qualified welders: $48.47 per hour plus superannuation and penalties; unqualified: $43.62 per hour plus superannuation and penalties
• Monday to Friday, 8 to 12-hour days
