Boilermaker - FIFO South Australia

About the role

Exact Contracting is seeking trade-qualified Boilermakers to join long-term civil construction projects across FIFO South Australian locations. The role covers general fabrication and welding duties on a heavy earth-moving and crushing and screening plant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general fabrication and welding duties on the heavy earth-moving and crushing and screening plant
• Carry out thermal lancing and work from drawings
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance and other maintenance duties as required

Required profile

• Nationally recognised trade qualification (essential)
• Experience in stick, MIG, TIG and oxy welding, oxy cutting, plasma cutting and pipe shaping
• History of structural steel replacement and repairs to conveyors, crushers, chutes, buckets, truck bodies and screens
• Ability to read and work from detailed drawings
• Unrestricted driver's licence, construction white card and working at heights (essential)
• Commitment to health and safety, teamwork and results orientation
