Boilermaker - FIFO Gold Mine (Perth)

About the role

Scotford Fennessy is recruiting an experienced Boilermaker for a long-term FIFO opportunity at a well-established gold operation in Western Australia's Murchison region. The role suits someone with a strong background in fixed plant maintenance who wants stable, ongoing work on a family-friendly roster. It is a Perth-only position.

Key responsibilities

• Work within the processing plant maintenance team
• Carry out structural repairs and fabrication work
• Perform welding and maintenance on fixed plant equipment
• Handle breakdown response and preventative maintenance
• Complete shutdown and repair work across the plant
• Maintain safe work practices and site standards

Required profile

• Australian recognised Boilermaker trade qualification
• Previous fixed plant maintenance experience in the mining industry
• Experience maintaining chutes, bins, conveyors, crushers and associated processing plant infrastructure
• Ability to work autonomously and within a maintenance team

Required skills

• Strong fabrication and welding skills
• Highly desirable: EWP (11m+), forklift licence, dogging ticket and basic or intermediate rigging

What we offer

• 8:6 roster (day shift only), 12-hour shifts, Wednesday FIFO days
• Pay of $70-$73 per hour plus super on all hours, paid weekly
