Bid Manager

About the role

HEH Civil is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead the tender process for civil construction opportunities across Queensland. You will ensure submissions are clear, compliant and delivered on time, working closely with estimating and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, set bid plans, and coordinate input from estimating, commercial, project, safety, quality, environment and leadership teams.
• Write, edit and compile responses, methodologies, project examples, personnel profiles and supporting documents, then manage reviews, approvals, document control and final lodgement.
• Maintain templates, project records, CVs and capability information, and track upcoming opportunities while recording feedback after tender outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction or infrastructure bids, interpreting tender requirements and keeping contributors on schedule.
• Strong writing, editing and document management abilities with attention to detail and the ability to meet firm deadlines.
• Confidence to coordinate contributors, ask the right questions and follow up information effectively.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Document management and version control capabilities.
