Bar Supervisor - Sydney Airport Lounge

About the role

Accor is looking for an experienced Bar Supervisor to lead its team in the Sydney International Airport Lounges. The role leads daily bar operations, supports and develops team members and ensures guests receive outstanding service in a fast-paced, premium lounge environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of bartenders and food and beverage attendants
• Deliver exceptional service standards and create memorable guest experiences
• Oversee daily bar operations, service delivery and presentation standards
• Ensure beverages are prepared and served consistently to specification
• Manage stock control, ordering and inventory
• Coach, train and develop team members
• Monitor RSA compliance and maintain health, safety and liquor licensing requirements
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues efficiently
• Support rostering and labour management

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Bar Supervisor, Senior Bartender, Team Leader or similar hospitality leadership role
• Proven leadership skills and strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and early morning or evening shifts
• Experience in premium hospitality, hotels, restaurants or airport lounges is highly regarded

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits and premium beverage service
• Current RSA certification
