Banking Consultant – Townsville

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers in Townsville. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, conduct needs‑based conversations, and guide customers through digital and traditional banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement and advocacy by providing high‑quality service.
• Support bank programs and initiatives across the branch.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of each customer’s risk profile (“know your customer”).
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
• Act as a role model and peer coach for colleagues.
• Participate in rostered Saturday shifts as required.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
