About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, helping customers meet their end‑to‑end financial needs. You will engage in needs‑based conversations, promote digital solutions, and act as a role model and peer coach within the team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience, handling transactions and needs‑based conversations.
• Educate customers on digital banking solutions and promote technology usage.
• Act as a collaborative team member, serving as a role model and peer coach.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives.
• Maintain a strong ‘know your customer’ approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, preferably with retail experience.
• Ability to conduct in‑depth, needs‑based conversations.
• Willingness to act as a peer coach and role model.
• Commitment to delivering on ANZ’s Customer Promises.
• Flexibility to work rostered Saturday shifts as needed.
