Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Casual)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience for customers, helping them meet their end‑to‑end financial needs. Working primarily from the Earlville branch, you will combine transaction processing with needs‑based conversations and digital education to turn customers into strong advocates for ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately while providing personalised, needs‑based advice.
• Educate customers on digital banking solutions and promote the use of online channels.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative branch team.
• Support bank programmes and initiatives that drive customer engagement.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of each customer’s risk profile and ensure compliance with ANZ policies.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Retail banking experience or a clear interest in the sector.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital technology in a banking context.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in a fast‑paced environment.
