About the role

The Banking Consultant role is based in a branch environment, delivering a seamless banking experience to customers by meeting their end‑to‑end financial needs, providing advice, and promoting digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide customers with a seamless branch experience across transaction activities, needs‑based conversations and digital education.
  • Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to deliver the best possible customer experience.
  • Contribute to increased customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value.
  • Participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
  • Know your customer from a risk perspective and ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies.

Required profile

  • Exceptional customer focus, retail experience advantageous.
  • Experience using and promoting technology and digital channels.
  • Ability to multi‑task, adapt to change and ambiguity.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and coach peers.
  • Sound understanding of compliance and strong communication skills.
