Banking Consultant – Gawler, South Australia

About the role

The Banking Consultant works primarily in the Gawler branch, delivering a seamless banking experience to customers. You will meet each client’s end‑to‑end financial needs, handle transactions, conduct needs‑based conversations and educate them on digital and other financial solutions. The role requires solid product knowledge and the ability to act as an advocate for ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting their full banking needs, handling transactions and promoting digital solutions.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Drive increased customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, with retail experience considered an advantage.
• Experience using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
