Back of House Assistant (Full-Time)

About the role

Join JD Sports in Broadmeadows as a Back of House Assistant. In this full‑time position you will support the store’s operations by handling stock from delivery to the shop floor, ensuring customers receive the right products quickly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, process, label and store merchandise in the back‑of‑house area.
• Maintain order, tidiness and safety of the stockroom, preventing damage and loss.
• Assist the sales team by retrieving product styles and sizes on request.
• Ensure all items are correctly priced and tagged.
• Replenish the shop floor with stock, keeping full size ranges available.
• Support the Back of House Manager/Supervisor in meeting KPI targets.

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality or a similar fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong organisational abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Willingness to work rostered shifts from Tuesday to Saturday.

Required skills

• Basic operational skills for handling deliveries and stock.
• Ability to follow company standards for product presentation and safety.
