AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join Coforge’s technology team in Sydney. In this role you will design, implement and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines that enable fast, reliable software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and manage secure, highly‑available AWS environments using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC and IAM.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning through Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Implement containerisation and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Datadog or similar tools.
• Collaborate with development, operations and security teams to ensure smooth deployments and compliance with security best practices.
• Document infrastructure, processes and configurations.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Proven ability to design and operate scalable, secure AWS solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK.
