Automotive Mechanic LV/HV/Plant (GSE Mechanic)

About the role

TCR, a global provider of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) solutions for airports, is hiring an Automotive Mechanic for its Adelaide workshop. You will repair, maintain and diagnose a wide range of specialised GSE equipment, working closely with a skilled workshop team to keep airport operations safe, efficient and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, preventive maintenance and diagnostics on ground support equipment using your technical skills as a tradesman
• Report daily to the Shift Supervisor, ultimately under the management of the State Service Manager
• Perform preventive servicing, data collection and maintenance tasks to trade standard
• Promote a safety-first approach and follow company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with fabricators, technicians and assistants to develop and implement solutions

Required profile

• Relevant mechanic trade qualification
• Own tools
• Current and valid driver's licence
• Experience working within procedural guidelines
• Good communication skills, proactiveness and a positive, autonomous yet team-oriented attitude

Required skills

• Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical fault finding is highly regarded
